Stephen Lillie is a men’s health coordinator with the Hawkesbury District Health Service, a division of Catholic Healthcare.

As an initiative to promote projects around better male health in the Hawkesbury region of NSW, Stephen is announcing the winning applications on June 12th.

The Men’s Health grants are designed to encourage local men’s groups to plan and implement small community projects.
“This is the first time this type of funding has been offered in the Hawkesbury,” Hawkesbury District Health Service men’s health co-ordinator Stephen Lillie said.
“The aim of the funding is to engage men, boys, women and children in being part of advocating for better male health and for the benefit of both males and females across the Hawkesbury.
“We also hope to encourage men and their families and colleagues to think about men’s health issues in a positive, inclusive and celebratory manner.
“The most exciting thing about this grant is that we have left the criteria open so that people can use their imagination and be as creative as possible to come up with ideas to get men together for a positive purpose.”
The launch will announce the winning organisations of these grants at Hawkesbury District Hospital from 12pm on Tuesday 12th June.
